I've been reading all the comments on these wires and thought a poll might be helpful for others.

I bought them. Look cool. Didnt notice any difference in performance. Pricey, but seems all wires are. Colors are very vibrant.

no problems
keep in mind that no performance increase will be observed with a plug wire exchange unless you are replacing a faulty one.

Got them also. Looks great but at idle the Tach red lines as when does at low idle with the other wires. No performance loss so I'm keeping them on. Anyone know why that happens?

I have to ask this and I prey I don't sound like I'm about to put speakers in my fuel tank!!! Are these the plug wires that light up and look like lightning at night time?

Twisted Wires

I love the look but as I posted before....no issues with engine performance but the RFI made my TACH erratic and bounce up and down (2007 PitBull). Is there a difference in the TACH set up in those bikes that are not affected?

I saw a bike with plug wires that fire electricity you could see the other night. What are those? Seems you would loose power with them!

Trouble free the first 1500 miles. BUT then ithey started. No loss in performance either but tach works weird after i put on that expensive shitty wires! sometimes It works or not at all plus the probs seatmaker Mentioned!

We might want to update the poll to include if you don't have any problems do you have WP or EHC.....I would be curious to know if we can spot a pattern.

Editors Note: Just put them on yesterday went for about 100 miles....no issues that I can tell. I have the WP.

I did 700 miles and not problem, mine were too short (for my x-wedge motor) I send them back and he made me a longer pair (14' long if I remember correctly), but I have wire plus on my bike.

Ok, I found out what I saw. There called neon spark plug wires. Very odd! Seems like it would effect power and possibly ignition. Looked cool though!

It's because of the EMI suppression. These wires are supposed to have it, but it's in a form (twisted carbon weave) that can wear out over time. Also, they can come not suppressed right out of the box. Another set could possibly fix it for you as they're hit/miss. They ALL will cause issues over time as the suppression wears out. Basically if the carbon weave doesn't make a full connection from cap/cap in the wire it's worthless. Over time, the carbon deteriorates or comes loose from the caps. The spark travels along actual metal core, the carbon is just for EMI suppression.

There is some speculation that incorrect wires will actually fry sensitive electrical components (think EHC!). There are a few jap cars that guys have run non-suppressed wires on and have been killing their throttle position sensors...the EHC is too far away, but the electrical interference could run back to the EHC through any wire if things aren't grounded properly.

Search Magnecor, I think Don is doing a group buy as well. I did tons of research on the issue and figured out what the problem is. Our electrical systems are just so sensitive and if the wires emit any interference it'll pick up in the tach first as it's run off the coil which is obviously closest to the wires.

You will see NO performance increase with different wires unless your old ones were bad.
