twin cam heads and barrels

Hi.

Anybody know about mating up twin cam 88' heads and barrels with an evo 1340 motor.

I've been offered heads and barrels from a twin cam 88' but I reckon there are too many mismatches for fitting to an 80' evo motor. I'm aware of the pushrod angles etc due to the different cam arrangements. Also about porous casings on the 1993 Evo motors...different combustion chamber shapes.:down:

Is there anything else that I should look out for....

I might still buy them and keep them for another project, just wanted more info ...cheers:cheers:

Will the TC jugs fit in the Evo cases with out case boring? Fly wheel clearance? Bolt pattern?:confused:

IT WON'T...............:(
There are cases,single cam,called "Fatso",originally made by Merch,floating around that will accept Twin Cam heads and cylinders.:up:
