Auto cancel was standard on the 2003's. However it was a programmable option that could be turned off as well as changing the amount of flashes. I believe 10 flashes was oem programming. I have an 03 as well and mine recently stopped self canceling.

Yep I think mine has stopped auto canceling also, I am just glad that they are working now.

You can purchase software through BDM Performance Products | A Better Big Dog Motorcycles Parts Provider and use a laptop or computer to program the number of flashes. But, call first. Try to talk to Bob Lockwood.
