W Woody1127 Member Aug 8, 2016 #1 Hey guys. I've noticed my left turn signal will randomly start flashing. I can push it off. then after a few minutes it will start flashing again. Any ideas? on really hot days it doesn't do it at all.

Rottweiler Well-Known Member Supporting Member Aug 8, 2016 #2 Could be a wire rubbing through. The turn signal switch takes it to ground when pushed, same as a wire shorting to ground under the tank.

Click to expand... I'll check it out when I get home. I have been getting a vibration noise coming from my tank.

jaggerz Active Member Aug 9, 2016 #4 Be sure to check you rear tank mount, I have the same bike as you and mine was really worn, also the tank had rubbed some wires bare.

Click to expand... Mine was worn too. I didn't see any wires worn tho. ill have to check where they run through the rear struts
