Hello all.

After months of downtime troubleshooting a "no spark" problem, I was a day away from putting my Big Dog on the road. So I got out the hose and washed the bike. But after turning the bike on, a problem appeared with my turn signals -

When I push the LH signal button, nothing happens. When I push the RH signal button, the signals flash constantly, and won't stop flashing until I turn the ignition off. I thought the water might have shorted something out, so I took apart both turn signal housings and checked the wires. Everything looked fine, and there was power to the LH signal.

This problem did not exist prior to washing the bike. I checked the wiring and nothing seems amiss. It seems that the signal controls are in the EHC?? What do you think? Is the culprit the EHC? Am I missing something?

Don't jump to the conclusion that it's the ehc. Yes the turn signals are controlled by the ehc. It seems like you have a bad connection someplace. Or sometimes the wires on the underside of the rear fender get rubbed and broken. Systematically check connections, light sockets and wires. Good luck.

I forgot one thing...The rear running lights and brake lights work, but they don't flash at all. Only the front signal lights flash, and then only when the RH signal button is pushed.
