Turn signal module?

Is the turn signal flasher/module built into the EHC on a 2000 Bulldog?
Having issues with a new Badlands Pro III install, and I'm told the old ILL-01 did not have an internal flasher, but the Pro III does. So, I need to tie into the turn signal feeds between the switches and factory flasher.

Also, is it possible to pull the EHC out enough to access the input harness without pulling the gas tanks?

Thanks! That'll be very helpful.
From what Thunder Heart tells me, my EHC is the same as their new EHC but without system monitor lights, and it looks like the EHC does control the turn signals. Looks like I'll have to pull the EHC to access the harnesses from the left & right handlebar controls so I can cut the turn signal feeds and connect them to the Pro III module.
Hopefully I can get that done in the next couple nights.

My Thunderheart controls the turn signals. When you pull the dash panel you can see the ehc but I don't think you would be able to work on it.

Yeah, I'm going to have to pull the tanks tonight. :( Drained the bulk of the fuel from them last night, but had some spillage from the crossover hose, so I wasn't able to re-fire the propane bullet heater after that, and being in the mid-20s it got pretty cold pretty quickly once I opened the garage door to air it out. I'm hoping if I only pull the left half I'll have enough access to the harnesses. That should also give me access to the harness for the currently non-functional turn signal mirrors, which they fed in on the left side of the backbone. The wiring will only take a few minutes to cut, strip, solder/shrink tube and recheck functionality, then zip tie appropriately and reassemble.

Well, got it installed.
The Pro III gas an integrated flasher, which was conflicting with the EHC'S flasher. I cut the turn signal feeds from the handlebar switches just before the EHC connector and tied them into the Pro III. Perfect!
The front turn signals had a broken ground wire which I repaired. They work very nice as running/turn lights now.
The turn signal auto cancel is going to be very nice.
I still need to rewire the rear turn signals that someone wired wrong; I'll hopefully get that done tonight when I pull the rear wheel to get the new tire mounted.
Had to repair the Run/Stop wire which pulled out of the harness connector pin as I was trying to get the EHC back into its tray. Luckily I found a few matching pins at a local electronics shop, and the $$ crimper I bought when I made the license plate bracket extension harness worked great.
It was a shit - ton of work, but we'll worth it!

I have a question. My front signal lights are working but the rear brake lights, turn signals, and horn quit working after I boosted the bike off one day. Any idea what this could be?

Does this bike have a fuse box or mater fuse? If so, where is it located? Now it doesn't even want to crank and the right
from signal lights were working and only the back were down.

How did you boost it, from another vehicle? and was the boosting vehicle running? you might have toasted the ECH boosting it.
There is one connector right by the battery under the seat that supply's the rear lights and turn signals

I boosted it with and vehicle that was running. After that, I replaced the bad battery and it started right up. The only thing that would work was back break lights, back turn signals and horn. Today I have been checking wires and I don't know what I did but now in addition to all that the right front turn signal doesn't work either and now it won't crank. Don't know what the hell I did. Does it have a master fuse or fuse box or what are your thoughts.? Thanks

First, with the new battery I know you said it started the bike before but did you charge the battery to a full charge, starting it will pull a lot out of a battery if its not fully charged, and did you have it on a battery tender overnight? take the side cover off and you will see a small gray box with 2 wires on it, one of the wires goes to the positive on the battery, to the side of it there is a small button, push or slide it.

Because the ECH is so sensitive, it is recommended if you are going to jump start from another vehicle, that vehicle should NOT be running, bad things can happen to the ECH

Yes I did. Other than brake lights, rear signal lights and horn it has been running fine for a month or two. Just decided it was time to see what is wrong so I can get it inspected. I even started it today but when looking for loose connections I must have tripped or done something because it won't even start now. I will check that switch you mentioned here in a bit when I return home. Thanks again for the comments. I hope I figure this out
