tuning the 117

Alright i have finalely took my bike to Xtream here in Greenville sc they're are putting the wire plus kit on so that i can ride the damn thing and not worry. But while it's down they're putting the 585 cam and dakota speedo on it. is there anything i should consider while it's getting the cam installed. The bike has 9000 miles. Also i'm wanting to put the s&s dual runner on it where can i find one cheap. and last how much tuning will this thing need after the cam and if i can the dual runner thanks for the helps guys

I don't know if its cheap but there is dual runner on ebay for $515.00.

I would have considered cutting the cylinders to increase compression so that I had more choices on cams.

I thought about going all out but the wife cut me off. with the cam wire plus speedo I'm in it 1500. If yall know someone who needs a nearly new snapon box let me know if your interested ill post some pics I'm asking 6000 if I can get that sold I'll be in business

Also might look at a programable igntion, that will help your performance as well. And I don't know the dealer that workin on your bike, but when you get it back give everything a once over, missin or loose bolts, Battery connections, etc.

Mick at too bad customs a sponsor on here has really good prices. I think you might be surprised.. nothing to lose...pm him. Good luck and cutting cyclindes & head work & cam would be a great start then a xxx carb and programable ignition should make you happy. But maybe single to if that was to happen then you might as well go for the karata too... well enough deaming..see ya :2thumbs:
