Trying to locate my Dad's old bike

My dad used to own a 2004 Big Dog Chopper and I was trying to locate it, figured this was a good place to start. The VIN is 5J11NBJ1X4W000289. It was black with red ghost flames, pretty sharp bike. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to go about figuring out how to find the thing. Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I would assume that the DMV would be able to look that up depending on the state that it is located in. However I’m not too sure if they would just share that information with you. Good luck for sure.

Well if you want you could pay a carfax that should help you. A free search listed it might have went to an Auction so could be salvaged or torn apart. Probably worth the money to get a report so you'll know.
