Try Pledge Metal Polish

I got some of the pledge metal polish just for wiping off the dust, bugs and crap that gets of my scooter and it does a great job on the metal surfaces. I don't spray it on the metal surfaces. I spray it on the rag and wipe the stuff off. Leaves a great shine with little effort. & it don't smell like a lemon either!

Thanks Ray. I love the collective ideas the Big Dog Nation comes up with for all kinds of solutions. I'll give that one a whirl.

I've been using regular pledge for the after ride wipe down and it works great. Guess I'll have to try the metal polish next time.

I can't find Pledge "Metal Polish" anywhere, nor is such a thing listed on their website.

Are you sure it's specifically called "Metal Polish"??

I detailed cars as a kid, There was no such thing as Armorall, or any of the cleaning products there are today. We used Lemon pledge by the case! It works great on leather, plastic, and paint ! It's Carnuba way in a spray can. I still have a can on my tool box and have used it on the showroom for 30yrs.

Clean windows and glass with newspaper instead of paper towl
