I read several pieces on this yesterday. Apparently what got him off was the blood alcohol level in the bikers. The bar tenders till and receipts plus eye witness testimony didn’t match . The defense attorney had enough evidence that the bourdon of proof wasn’t enough to convict him of man slaughter. The attorney put enough blame on the high alcohol content in all the bikers that everyone was all over the road.
