Carb Question

Just was wondering how bikes ran at high altitude..Are you carbureted ? Took harley to Colorado 5 years ago and had trouble at 5ooo ft and up with timing...great pics though and nice that your parents ride also!!!

Thanks for the kind words everybody. We put about 1200 miles on them this trip, which is a lot for us folk. :lol:
And Blackie, Over the Rocky Mtn Nat'l Road was about 12,000 ft. and we would generally have to adjust the carb but the only problem we had was slow idle. It never missed or anything. Now, in the motorhome going from Grand Lake to Breckenridge, we'd be floored and going about 40 mph or so. And it's a 600 HP Cummins! :roll:

Great post ...loved the pictures ....I'm really surprised no one mentioned the chicken lights or the reflectors LOL Oh snap I just did ..its all in fun :D
