Transmission sprocket question

Getting ready to change the belt and drive pulleys on my '02 Mastiff, 107", left side drive, softail.

Are the threads on the transmission sprocket (pulley) nut left handed?

Big Dog service manual says the clutch hub nut is the only left handed thread.
Harley '02 softail service manual says the trans sprocket nut is left hand.

Don't want to strip the threads.

Correct. Set air tool to the 'on' position as if tightening a normal bolt. This spins off the nut as in a left hand thread. And if there is a tang behind the bolt, see if there is a tab to move up and away from the nut before removing.

Yes they are left hand thread.
