Is valvoline 75W140 alright to put in a transmission ? Heard Lucas was ok to use but nobody around here sells any . Or shall I just order the Spectro 15w140?

I cant say that yr product is good but everyone uses something different and is happy with it. If it says tranny fluid or gear oil on the bottle you should be ok. If you prefer, contact the tranny manufacturer and ask them. I had a roadside incident that resulted in my using Royal Purple synthetic 75/140 (O'reilly auto parts, great product!) and was very happy with it.

I would recommend only using what the makers of the particular product recommends to use. In this case Baker recommends a 75/140 gear oil. I use it and have no issues. Also my bike puts to the ground 145hp/155tq and the trans is handling great
