Ok. I think I fixed my problem. You guys ever seen sling blade where he says "scooter has been workin on that lawn mower all day and still hasn't fixed it". Then Karl looks at it and says "it ain't got no gas in it. Well that's what kind of day I had today. I pulled the primary and checked everything out. Everything looked good. I was ASSUMING since the guy I bought the bike from had it serviced last year and it only had 300 miles on the service that the fluids were good. Wrong. After doing all that, I drained the tranny and only got 8 oz. of fluid. It was all clean so I just put 20 oz. of new fluid in, adjusted the clutch as the post explained (I could wiggle the nut up and down where u adjust the clutch). After getting all that done I hated to take it for a spin because it is pouring here but I couldn't help it. I rode it about a mile or so and it is much quieter. Thank for all the help, it saved me a lot of money. It is much appreciated.

That's why I said check the fluid level and condition of oil first thing:)......Find it hard to believe the factory Big Dog Tech's/Mechanics sent that bike outta there shop low on Trans oil after doing a Routine Service:(,and if it leaked that much oil out of the bike, you should have seen that when you checked it out to buy it:confused:...........But then again,ya never know......Glad you got it fixed......:cheers:Happy Riding dude...........

I am not saying it was sent out of the shop like that. I have never had one drop on my floor since I bought it but I think it's because it was so low when I purchased it. The plug in mine isn't magnetic and it had quite a bit of rtv around it , so I think my plug was replaced. I inspected the area around the drain plug and u could see where it may have had a small leak before but not very much sign to indicate a leak. I'm assuming that any fluid that might have been on there was cleaned off when I got ithe bike. The 8 oz. that came out was clean. No metal at all
