Has anybody ever had this problem 07 K-9 trans leaks out the right side oiling down the belt and the rear wheel. I have replaced the quad seal, big oil seal and the main drive gear seal.three times and it still leaks , talked to Baker he said the only way for oil to get past these seals is back pressure inside the trans but i made sure the vent was clear. Any suggestions please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you say your cleaned "the vent", does that include the primary vent on the inside of the top inner primary cover? just thinking of where pressure could build that would get to the tranny.

did you replace the door seal on the trans and make sure that the door bolts were torqued? Also, is it for sure trans fluid or how is your fluid in your primary?

Are you checking your transmission fluid with the bike standing straight up or are you checking in while on the kickstand?

Most of the oil is concentrated behind the big drive pulley and on my rear wheel

Simple thing is, go get a DYE kit, put it in your tranny, drive it around, then come back and look for it with the glasses and UV light.....and go from there.....if you put the DYE in your trans and have no UV leak, then it's something else.....

With it sitting on the kick stand , is that wrong?

Yes it will be over Full Checking it on the kickstand it needs to be sitting upright. When I first got my 09 ridgeback it was leaking trans fluid. I pulled the dipstick and it looked full right to the line but when I stood the bike up it was 3/4 the way up the dipstick. So I Did a fluid change and checked it with the bike standing upright till it was to the mark on the dipstick and I’ve never had a leak sense. Hey you experts out there let me know if I’m wrong on this thanks

Well I live in a small town so finding a dye pack might have to wait till my next trip to Reno Nv ,

Prob the race has walked causing oil to get past seal. I have this problem myself on my vintage pro stock. Really pisses me off since I set it to tolerances , 001, and started leaking after a thousand miles or so of replacing shift pawl. Even called BD and asked about it when was putting back together. Found out o a site thru Baker. They sure won't tell you shit, but look up and read about it. That race will move. It never says how to fix it, so I assume it's just replace with new and repress it back on. You do have to order a tool to pull and replace. Not much tho. I think on Amazon for less than $45.
