Well, I made it back from another successful deployment. Nice to be back. Only have a few months before I have to fly out again. So, I am having a small leak from the transmission. It is coming from the right side, underneath the pulley cover assembly. When I got the bike there were no leaks. After the first season, I did the regular maintenance, change the oil, filter, and tranny fluid. I wasn't sure what trans oil was used previously, so I went to the Baker website and bought the Specto Heavy Duty full synth 75w140. Didn't notice any issues until just before I went on deployment. The leak is slow, but i do have drips on the foor. I have been looking for the gasket for the right side and I have been able to find one. Looking at the tech manual, there wasn't one listed, unless I am looking in the rong place. I can find the top gasket and even baker has an O-ring, but looking at the bike it doesn't look like an O-ring is what I need. Am I missing something? What is the overall difficulty of the replacement and are any special tools needed? The bike runs and shifts smooth, finds neutral fine, and I haven't had to add any more tranny fluid yet. I have been keeping an eye on it. In the pic, it may be hard to see, but there is pink residue from the fluid around and at the bottom edge of the cover. I don't want it to keep riding and have something catastrophic happen. Thanx for the help.
