My Bike took a turn for the worst today, maybe the Clutch or Trans, I hear a bad noise that sounds like it is coming from the Primary gear. I don't know a lot about my Bike still so I don't know what everything is called. I only know what I have worked on. I hear it when I accelerate after I let the clutch out. I could feel it when I gave it gas with my hand but I think I was holding the clutch. I would check again but I am charging my battery now so I wont know until I can start it again. I did notice one thing, my clutch was always perfect, no play and smooth until now, it has a little play and doesn't seem right. Anyone have any suggestions what I can do before I start taking it apart?

Thanks

I wouldn't ride it to figure it out. May need to take a look in the primary side and see if anything is obvious, loose clutch hub nut? Draining the fluid and looking in there is not too hard. With the guidance of the service threads by gasman. :2thumbs:

Many of us have been there with the clutch hub nut. Don't start and ride it, you may cause serious damage. Take the outer primary cover off and go from there.

I know I posted what is wrong on another post I had but incase anyone searchers that has the same clunk, it is the Rotor that broke off so I am replacing the rotor and stator. I would of figured it out because it moved so much but my know it all neighbor said it was supposed to move. I didn't think it was right but he is such a BullShit artist, I believed him.
