Ok, I have a 4" Karats belt drive, Last year i noticed a oil leak from the clutch basket. I changed the tranny oil seal and for a couple of rides looked ok Now I just noticed oil on the floor. any sugestions, Going to Daytona in a few weeks. Not a bad leak just gets everything messy

I had the same issue, turned out to be my main bearing was worn, had a lot of play. Did you clean out all the oil from your starter while you had it apart?

Sorry to say it but Brew is probably right. If you end up taking it apart again to inspect it, check for play on the Main shaft. (input side) If any play at all, up/down, side to side..you have worn transmission bearings.
But, when you replaced the seal, did you install it in the correct direction? Also with that open primary you should have installed the small O-ring behind the clutch hub spacer.

One of the old ones.
What Bigdogtech said. Same issue here, and the end play (very slight movement) in the transmission input shaft predicted the milky transmission oil (filings) that meant worn transmission bearings.
I had a bad habit of shifting at low rpm, especially when passing...there is no place in that tranny for the torque to go but out to the transmission bearings....that engine doesn't see less than 2500 to 3000 rpm in normal riding these days.

I had that same problem with mine I have a 5" open primary being primary so big putting stress on the trans bearing it was leaking oil all over my primary. Well turns out they had to take the trans apart and custom machine the the bearing in the trans to keep it from walking out again which is what they did and it solved the problem.

Good Luck
