Trans fluid after being on a center stand

Hello All,

I moved the RB off the jack today...it has been sitting up right for weeks. It leaned a puddle of gearbox fluid out on the floor sitting on the kick stand...?

Normal or problem...?

Yep, you have a problem.

mine is usually on the jack if it is in the garage. been doing that for almost a year now and has never leaked; engine, trans., or primary.

ok....now on the search for a shop who will work it out for me.....

Shane, if I were you I would put the bike back up on the stand and at least look to see where the leak is coming from. Might be something simple.

I will take a look at it soon.....I am putting a race deck floor in the garage. When I am done I will get it bcd in and on the jack to see what it looks like....appears to be coming from the seal at the gearbox output seal....clan red fluid.

ride it , clean it and put it on lift. you should be able to trace the leak. as mentioned might be a simple fix:up:

if its a leakin it's likely a seal.....if its a seal it aint a"simple" fix.....
