Well boys,i got the scoop today from my mechanic on what (Amy) from BD thought was just a clutch cable that they were'nt going to cover.can anybody guess what it was??oh the suspence is killing you huh?Well it turns out that it was the main shaft in the tranny!(clutch cable my ass)!!oh and by the way mine is an 05 pitbull.fuck there go's atleast 3 months with out the bike.it's a good thing i still have the nighttrain.i think i'm going shopping this weekend for another harley oooh maybe a streetglide?

major bummer - hopefully it won't be 3 months - do you have to get the mainshaft from BDM or can you get it direct from baker?

Is BDM going to cover the cost of repairs?

It cost me over a thousand dollars and about a month in the shop. BDM covered the cost of labor for the rebuild of the tranny only. I paid to take the tranny out, put it back in and every part they could think of.

Well,Bigdog better cover parts,labor etc. the thing is still under warranty.So that in it self says they'er still obligated to fix it.what do u guys think?

they should still fix it since it's becoming a common problem.

but then again they should fix Woolfs also!
