I was told by some trailer dealers here... that the weight of the trailer, combined with the bikes... would be pushing the limit of a single axle 6x12.

Knot... that 6x12 is nice!!! I wonder what it will get up to?

I wonder if he has any locations closer to me?

Gas, you seen my enclosed trailer. Granted, I keep it hooked up to the motorhome and filled with a tool box, air compressor and all the extra supplies to last out in the wild a couples of days..... but it is a 6X12, dual axle with electric brakes. Even like that it weighs 3200# loaded.......Really don't know if you can get 2 bikes in there comfortably.
But I can say it tows straight and I never know it's back there.

Just an idea for you guys. A guy here in Columbia, Mo took a flatbed utility trailer and mounted a wind deflector from the top of a cab over semi tractor on the front. He painted it to match the trailer and used quick connect fasteners. When he wanted to haul his bikes, the front ends tucked up under the deflector which was a little taller than the bikes. Great protection from rocks, road debris etc. Really wish I had some pics, it was a slick setup.

BDK9... I thought about doing that... but by the time you're done the bikes are still outside...

Bunky... I don't. But if I did I think I would run a set of condors. I currently do run my condor on any trailer I rent or borrow.

7 X 14 Classic.. Added Electric brakes $3.000.00 new.. I installed the floor covering and center rail tie down.. Plus 110v lighting and outlets. Tows Great... and easy to move off the truck with the single Axel. My Mastiff fits on both sides and i know gasman's chopper fits on the left.. cant remember if Gas and AL had their bikes in at the same time or not.

My experience with trailers is get electric brakes, tandem axles and the biggest you can afford. My 16 foot enclosed is good for to bikes. The extra money at the toll booth is well spent for the added tracking of tandem axles.

Got have the tandem axles... way nicer... better if you get a flat, better to back up.. better better...

Electric brakes are also state law in many states. And they make a hell of a difference in stopping

Kam... yep... Mine and Al's...
