FrontRunner, Contact Thumper, He just bought an Ultra-light, real good price and he might have done a lot of the Legwork for you.
Here it is 20' Featherlite with V nose. All Aluminum construction. Take a close look and you will see there is no Transition plate for the dog to bottom out on. The use a very gradual beaver tail with a piano hinge for the rear door.
Lots to do this winter to get it ready for the Sturgis run. Planned are a/c, full electric service and lighting, fold up beds and hopefully provisions for a keg

Trucked out to Pittsburgh for it. This is the best towing "tag" trailer I have towed and very light. This is actually lighter than the 7X12 I had.

What's the inside height on that Thumper? That might be exactly what I'm lookng for.

I would also add a window and couple of vents, electric for a microwave, and a partition in the nose for a portable toilet. :2thumbs:

I thought about finacing... but I think I need to wait... need to get some stuff done around the house first.

not enough time 4 riding
I have a Pace American Journey 6x12 single axle enclosed trailer. It was a very tight fit to put the Big Dog and the Harley in for the trip to Daytona. It also does not have brakes. The trailer and my truck end up being about 36 feet long.

The next trailer will be a 7 foot wide with twin axles and brakes.

Funny you said that. I was going to pay in full but Featherlite had a 12 months no payments or interest on this model. Also none of that bullshit interest will accrue, real no interest. Took advantage of it and keep my dough for another year.

Ummmm No, If it has a Bathroom and sleeping quarters in it, it's a tax write off and considered a second Mortgage. Mine Holds 2 Bikes and Sleeps 8. Full Bath and Kitchen. $ 220 a Month for I think it's 11 Years. 21k was the Sticker Price, Thats 29k over 11 Years but like I said you claim the interest back every Year. Plus Factor in what you save on Hotel and food, it's a no Brainer.
Ya don't get $8000 all back. To each thier own. Whatever works.

I may have to try to sell my trailer down there.
It's old but in good condition - 1984, 28' Skamper aluminum travel trailer. Sleeps 6... $2,500.
My Aunt is also selling a 32' fifth wheel 199?, excellent condition for $3,700.

No place to haul "toys" in either one

Nice trailer... but damn $5000... I got alot of things to tackle at home before I can validate spending that loot on a trailer.
