We trailered the Dog from Colorado Springs to Phoenix and back this week. Was absolutely perfect riding weather there; mid-80s and sunny. And the strange thing is - I didn't see many bikes. The dog got filthy on the way back. There was a snowstorm that blew through northern NM and CO on Saturday, and we drove through the aftermath Sunday morning. I guess an enclosed trailer will go on my wishlist!
Pic with the 'new' 1997, 38' Newmar in Phoenix, and a few filth shots.
Got her rinsed off, but the snowmelt from Wednesday's major blizzard (thankfully we left Tuesday) was causing the driveway to turn to mud, so a full washing will have to wait.

Definitely wouldn't like hauling bike open air. Those roads out west in Laughlin are VERY nice. We left Vegas drove to Death Valley and I was amazed how smooth the roads were out west. I'm from Michigan so the bar is set pretty low to begin with. anything is better than Michigan roads in fact we have a website and billboards specifically targeting road repair JUSTFIXTHEROADS.COM lol. Glad you had a good time.

I looked into the rv/toyhauler and no one stocked them. The dealer told me they are a hard resell.
The only Toy haulers with a motor that I have seen, have the door on the side and a max bike length of 8'. And just in case anyone was wondering an '06 mastiff is 8-1/2' long.

Oh man that got filthy - Wow
That looks just like mine when I got it home after I bought it. 12 hour drive in the rain, I felt like pig-pen with the cloud following me around.

It was never again as clean as it was when I bought it and put it on that open trailer.
