tp to s&s boxes

i have another question, 05 ridgeback i'm swapping the boxes out.do i need to get some s&s rockers and shafts or can i use the ones i have. haven't torn it down yet and would like to have all parts i need before i do. thanks,

You can use the TP roller rockers and shafts.The S&S boxes will take care of the geometry issue.But there has been some issues with the rollers coming apart on the TP rockers and damaging head and valves.Its best to go all S&S,that's what I did.they are gold platted,expensive shit.

I had mine done and at the advice of S&S and others on here who have done the switchover I left the TP guts in it......I guess if you have the money and want it all S&S ...its up to you...I spent that part somewhere else:D

I'm having mine done now as we speak but when you have the 650 woods cam in that gives you more lift you won't have the clearance with the TP rocker arms as opposed to the S&S so I went with it.

Good point on the lift of your new cam....I plan to keep my motor pretty much stock...less the carb and pipes etc. so the TP's were the best option for me...
