tp rocker boxes?

Doesn't matter what the guides are made of. The TP problem is all about geometry. The bronze guides will take longer to wear than the cast iron stock guides. They will eventually give up and if the rocker boxes aren't changed, you'll have a problem like the above pictures.

Okay guys you probably can tell that I'm upgrading my motor in my 06 k9 from my earlier posts. This is what I'm dealing with, I know alot if people advocate switching to s&s boxes and covers, but I was recently told by some reputable builders to save my money and use my current tp stuff. Okay they explained that the real problem is cast valve guides that my motor came with. They said all those infamous tp problems can be solved with bronze valve guides especially exhaust side. They said tp when equipped that way are just as good as s&s. I told them I wanted the woods w6hf cam and wood springs and they told me to keep my current roller rockers since my motor just hit 5,000 miles. We talked about other upgrades etc. But my whole purpose for this thread is to get other opinions on the subject cause the bike is leaving for the shop this weekend maybe even tomorrow.
If the mechanics have a well known reputation listen to them. S&s stuff breaks also. I got a s& s engine in back shed. Flywheels spun on shaft and crack cases to shit. I rebuilt a buddy’s 110” S&s cause crank pin bearings came apart. Tit for tat type thing. I got a w6h in a stock stroke80” delkron cases wiseco 11-1 comp pistons. 104 hp and 117 tq from my 80” beauty. I bought woods lifters after first fire up. His lifters make engine run quieter. I have manly valve w 5angle valve seat and kibble white springs. When torque runs out you can’t tell cause hp is full bore. Set my rev at 6500. Been rock solid for 2yrs now and I ride like I stole the old 87 Electra every time.
