I don't want to end up with only one huge bicep. DMC has half the solution but claims to be working on the master cylinder kit.

I don't know about you guys but I can't wait for ever, I don't have that many years of riding left in my body....

I am a partner in a mechanical engineering design business. I'm willing to invest in hours for my staff to design a system. I'm looking for one of you netting to team up with that has a machine shop to that is willing to build a prototype with me.

It won't be easy but I'm willing to invest some time and money. Any takers?

I think there is a define market out there.

Keith,
Ultima has the actuator that I believe will bolt up to the Baker RSD. If so, that leaves the plumbing and master cylinder to be machined to match the front brake side or change both controls to Harley type.

I was just looking at the stock clutch control side. Would be nice to utilize the stock control. Not sure if there is enough "meat" to mill a reservoir for the fluid. If someone has a donor unit (clutch control) I could try to mill a reservoir.

I"m thinking my firm cam provide a solids model and total design plus finite element analysis to check strength prior to any prototype mating. Almost guaranting it will work. Where it becomes more of a challenge is the hydraulics calculations.

Understand starting with solid billet. I just try to utilize stock parts whenever possible to cut costs. I have already re-designed some of the stock parts.....pegs, starter to name a few. Think I'll just stick with re-designing my own parts.

Still interested in that donor clutch control if someone has one.

Sounds like a cool project that could eliminate the possibility of cable breakage; but on the other hand, I've got 18k+ miles on my K9 and I've got no sign of a huge bi-cept unfortunately....:D

Noticed that e-bay item is designed similar to the brake side wherein the mirror / pivot is offset from the reservoir area. Whereas stock clutch control has the mirror /pivot pretty much going right through that area - seems like that'd give you problems trying to modify stock controls?

there's only 5 hours left on the auction, but here is your prototype to start from if you can reverse engineer it. BIG DOG HYDRAULIC CLUTCH SIDE HAND CONTROL 04-UP BDM | eBay

Shane (narow37) posted this the other day.
I bought one of them bad boys, just waiting for Christmas so the wife can get me the actuator  They look just like the brake side and use a 9/16 piston which is cool cause a BDM master cylinder brake kit will work to repair one should it need repairs.
