Top motor mount

I have a 2003 Mastiff with about 12,000 miles on it. I was taking the ignition off to get at the bolts that hold the carburator on the bike when I noticed the top motor mount had snapped where it attaches to the frame.

Anyone else have a problem with the top motor mount?

Are you saying the coil cover/top motor mount part broke or that the frame plate it attaches to broke?

Quite a few of us have had a broken coil cover/motor mount. If you need a replacement check out Shovelheadkicker on eBay or ask for one here. I'm sure someone has one laying around.

The part that attaches to the frame and the top of the jugs, snapped next to where it bolts to the frame.

PM LDO and ask him if he still has his. He upgraded to the new style coil cover.
When you replace it make sure you shim it out properly so that it doesn't break again. Do the two heads first then the frame.
