Tool or Socket to tighten inner brace of foot controls?

The shifter foot control is loose.
I removed the outer portion of the foot control.
There are two "sun" shaped bolt head on the fasteners holding on the inner portion.
What should I use to tighten them up?
I tried a few different sized sockets, none worked.

The entire assembly is loose or just the shift control, the Allen bolt that goes through peg holds that tight

Try a 12 point socket. Standard 6 point sockets wont bite.

I tried attaching a photo to the original posting... I should download the Tapatalk app...
I was able to tighten the bolts back up using a 13/64 socket.
