took a little ride today

It was like 40 degrees....but the sun peeked out , so I took a little ride...only 17 miles ...but it was nice to get back on the bike after sitting for like 2 weeks now.Now I have 257 miles instead of 240..lol! Then it started to look like it was going to rain...so I came back home....dam! but then the temp. dropped to around 36...so I will wait again for the weather to warm up a little. At least I got to take it out...that made my day!

Finally finished my seat, looking forward to my next ride to feel it out. Probably will be right to the dealership for some warranty/ recall work, probably next Saturday, weather permitting, I'm a Gander too .

I got out today and made a quik trip up to scenic Kingston, about 70 miles each way. It was in the mid 50's untill the last 20 miles when the temp dropped a lil. Still, nice to get out.

Yeah...I was stuck in that traffic jam earlier this afternoon. They had 94 East and West bound shut down....for a few hours....thats sucked....windy as hell ..like you said....

Kingston - that's a pretty nice ride from where you live, KnotSo - and, a great destination. We've been sneaking out between the raindrops for some short rides, too - made it up to Snoqualmie Falls - lots of water over the falls this time of year.

Hey Gas.....I rode my dog to work today.....everyone there was like...Holy Shit! that bike is sick!!!
I got 343 miles on it now....going to do some more riding this weekend...then I should be due for my 500 mile thingy.... :choppersmiley:

Hey Gasman...I rode the whole weekend...so now I have 692 miles...oops....I am going to schedule my 500 mile service either this week or next ..depending on weather. Hey I have a question for you....yesterday later on that day ...I noticed sometimes that when I go to downshift...I would get to 2nd gear and it seemed like it would not go into first.....ever had that problem? when I reached down by hand....it would go in...did it a few times....I will let them know when I ride it in for my service..

Just mention it to the dealer. Most likely its a matter of adjusting your shifter. There are all kinds of things that need adjustment at the 500 mile. I haven't had that problem yet though.
