Too cold to ride?

Generally 45 is about a low as I like to go and I do ride year round. Had my first flat yesterday (nail in the side wall). As for the northerners, yup salt must be a bitch and is nasty to aluminum. Bike Week in Daytona is coming .. good time to thaw out.

not enough time 4 riding
Surprised that I only saw one other bike ... then remembered its Christmas Eve.

You can tell who the single/no family/girlfriend out of town - guy is ... :loony:

Had the Big Dog out around 11 AM for about an hour and the Harley out around 1 PM for about an hour. By 1 the temperature around Dulles Airport was in the upper 40s. Saw a few other bikes in the morning and 10 to 12 in the afternoon, in both cases predominately Harleys. Only saw 1 sport bike and no other customs.

I definitely resemble the second part.

Mid fifties is my threshold. I am not interested in freezing my ass off for the sake of a ride. Keep in mind my riding season is about 9 months a year with some jaunts in to the 60 range in the winter from time to time. When I ride I like to get atleast 50 miles out of town. Running around Vegas with all traffic sucks.
Gotta love the weather out here Vegas. It gets a little colder here (I'm at about 5000 ft)...but still get to ride pretty much all year long.:choppersmiley:

It's never to cold to ride in the south east. I HATE rain and don't typically ride if there is a chance of it plus we rarely ever get snow or ice here in NC. Can you tell I'm a lazy sob?

80 something here today and looks good through New Years... Then dips into the high 60's. Can't wait to break out the leather again.
