Sorry about your Dog, Glad you are ok. Saw the reflection of your fingers in the forks of one of the pics, I hope they and your toe heal quickly.

Wow:eek:, from the looks of those pics you were lucky it was only the bike that got damaged!:panic2: Hope you have good insurance. I assume they'll total the bike.
IF they won't and say it'll be a rebuild, here's your chance to have Airbrush Ed work some of his paint magic for you...that might help you feel a little better? :)

Damn, dude! Glad you're okay, but don't despair. Unless there's more wrong than I can see, the bike is faaaaar from a total loss. Couple grand in new parts, some new paint, and you oughta be back on the road. Went thru similiar thing with my K9 a couple years ago after gettin hit by moron on cellphone. Bike's now fine, although the ol' lady's still alittle gimpy.

Ride the roads in your backyard every once in awhile. Mainly around Bennet Springs and Pomme de Terre for muskie fishing. Definitely tricky when you run into idiots or wildlife, but absolutely gorgeous riding territory!

Assume you bought bike at either Gateway in St. Louis or Springfield dealer. If Gateway, I live right down the road. Give me a holler if you're up this way!

Good luck, bro!!!!

Thanks for the invite I sure will look you up when Im back on the road. yes I got it from Tim at Gateway Im from St Charles moved here 11 years ago very nice roads to ride. Damage doesnt look too bad but I put a straight edge on the frame and its bent below the primary, and so is the swing arm so with the depreciation of these bikes over the last few years I figure the insurance with just total it. I aint laying down by no means I will be back as soon as I can.:2thumbs: Those muskies will throw youre arm out before they bite try mid to late sept for them.

Glad you are ok. It is a sick feeling when the bike even gets dropped. I know I did it right after getting mine. But fixed and repaired the bike. I have also rode mine out across grassy places when I saw I was in it too hard to make the curve. Again glad you are ok. Sick feeling will go away with time,

Glad your OK. Keep us posted on what the insurance does. This is my worst nightmare. Hopefully you will get the silver lining.

Damn, Rod...Didn't realize the frame damage. May be right about it being totalled. Will be close. Definitely sucks!

Meanwhile, lmao about the muskie comment...that's why they call'em "the Fish of 10,000 Casts!" But when you DO finally get ahold of one of'em! :whoop:  Usually fish the spring and fall Muskie Inc tournaments down there every year. Love it!

Look forward to meetin ya whenever either of us is in the other's backyard.

It doesnt take much to total one, I have mine insured for $8000 more than it would cost to replace it just in case. Just getting rear ended on my K9, bike didnt even go down and it was $7500. I say this is a def totaled bike but Im so glad your ok, it could have been much much worse....

Very sorry about your unfortunate incident. However, you can't let this hold you back. Hell, I totalled a Vette that I had over 50 grand into. It sucked for a few days, but I eventually collected my insurance, saved, and bought another, and counted my blessings that I was not seriously injured. You will eventually do the same. Remember, without good health, you really don't have much in life. Best Regards--Brock
