To pillion or not to pillion.

Just received the owner’s manual for my 2002 Pit bull. It states not to carry passengers. I purchased the bike with pillion pegs and an optional BD pillion seat. Just wondering how many pit bull riders out there carry passengers? And why the owner’s manual does not recommend this?

I've carried them on my 2001 Mastiff. No fat chicks but that was for image reasons.

i've got an 08 pitbull. i dont think it would be a comfortable ride for a passenger. rigid frame. not sure about the 2002 but the 08 has a only a wide tire and a pogo seat for suspension. you hit a nice bump and you'll pop up in the air a little.
and a passenger.....well lets just say they might not be there at the next stop.
