To Grip.. Or not to Grip...

Question for you guys about grips, footpegs...

The stock grips/footpegs have padded/rubber cushions in them, Ive already noticed after riding the numbness after awhile in the hands, obviously the throttle hand more than any other.... "Cruisemate" ... Ill get there...

But... My question is, some of the really cool looking aftermarket billet grips and designs I see without any rubber/cushions in them, I would think these solid billet ones would make it worse.. While they look great... Did you guys notice any comfort loss swapping out the stock for solid billet?? I would think the vibration would be more, which equals quicker numbness to the hands...

First, get with the Kaptin at wildsteedworx, he's a vender on here. Get you some new rubber riaser bushings. This will make a world of differance.

Mine still have some rubber to them. but are aftermarket.
Yah, I found some really neat designs, but they are solid billet with no rubber or pads on them. And while I do see a bunch of guys running the solid ones, I wanted to see if they noticed loss in comfort as a result...

kinda like.... We all know theres a price sometimes for the cool factor...

So it boils down to Cool Factor vs Comfort Factor....

K-9 factor vs GoldWing factor....:D

I have the Roulette grips and although there is some rubber there it is rather thin. I do however, wear the BDM gloves with jel in them and it works awesome.
