It's time to put some new rubber on the 05 Bulldog and it appears that the 250/40 X 18 is harder to find than the 300's.
The prices are also hard to look at. I remember that someone used a little smaller tire but cannot find any threads about that.
I put in "250/40 X 18 Tires" in the search engine, and it stated my term was too short, WTF.

Anyone bought any 250 tires recently?

Aren’t those Chinese tires? I know in the past that rubber from china sucks. My tractor dealer talked me into buying a new Chinese tractor he had started carrying and all the hoses , lines , tires all started falling within weeks then the tie rod broke in half for no reason. Other stuff was inferior also. Long story short he gave me all my money back and stopped selling these shit tractors. Buy Chinese if you want to

In 1998, Shinko Tire acquired the motorcycle tire technology and molds from Yokohama Rubber Co.. This acquisition allowed Shinko to enter the motorcycle tire market, building upon Yokohama's existing technology, according to Shinko Tire. Shinko continues to manufacture and sell motorcycle tires, with its production based in South Korea and design and development in Japan

So since we are on the tire shortage conversation I want to let you guys know, and some may already know, that on 03 and 04 models choppers and ridgebacks you can run a 90 90 21 front tire.. chopper and ridgebacks have a fiberglass front fender, if you hadn't changed it to steel, and will allow for the bigger front tire...I run these on all my bikes with a fiberglass front fender...actually rides better in the front having a little bigger tire and they are about 30 bucks cheaper...

Also a mh90 and a 80/90 is the same size...80/90 is the metric number size that some tire companies stamp on there tires

Right now there is a several 90 90 21 still around...
