Tires?

I know this is like asking "how long is a piece of string" but input and consensus is very important coming from guys like you.
I'm looking to buy a 250/40r/18 and a 80/90/21 for the Ridgeback.
I'm thinking Dunlop Elite 4 at this point, anyone have a pro or con?

I put a Dunlop Elite on the Pitbull. I had to shave the lip of the tire. Rubbed the belt. I just put a Shinko 240 on the Chopper. So far I like it. Mileage is unknown @ this time. It was only $189 tho so Im not into it too much.

No. It was a standard Avon 250. You cant see the 5mm per side difference on the 240.

I have the Dunlop's on my 06 mastiff. They just barely touch the belt when all warmed up... like you can put a dollar bill through (don't rub). For ride and handling I like them a lot and they wear well.

I ran a 250 Dunlop on my 02 pit and got good wear out of it for about 3 years. Now running Shinko with good results also.
