Not sure if this is the right spot for this question.

Why does one go to a 240 Metz. from a 250 Avon? Is it personal preference?
I rode by 2 dogs yesterday and noticed that was what they had on there bikes while at a light. Just wanted to know if I was missing something. I was tempted to ask them but they kind of looked like they were playing the "look at me I'm cool" card. Once again I do appologize in advance if this was the wrong spot for this question.

Oscar, BDM used the 240 Metzler on some of the models in 03-04. Haven't hear of anyone changing the 250 to a 240. My 03 Mastiff had a 240 on it!

If I'm not mistaken, which is often:lol: one of the bikes was an 04 pitbull just likke mine. I'll ask that cat when I see him again.

I'm pretty sure this don't apply for us but I know racers do that from a 190 to a 180 in the rear to increase "turn in" on corners.

Maybe that person just got a good deal on them?

Or maybe it has to do with growth?
