Can someone educate me on tire sizes? I'm looking for new tires for my pit bull. rear is 300/35/R18 - 88H the tire I am looking at is a ME880 XXL 300/35R-18 M/C (87V). Will this tire work for my bike and What does the "88H" and the "87V" in the tire size stand for?

Thanks!

88 stands for the load range of the tire and the H stands for the speed rating

88H.....load range of around 550kg (1212lbs.) and speed rating up to 130mph

87V....load range of around 550kg (1212lbs.) and speed rating up to 149mph

tire should fit

300-width of the tire in millimetres
35-tire's height aspect ratio

I just put one on My 07 K9 Tony, I love this new tire compared to the Avon. Little close on the drive belt clearance but it doesn't rub. :2thumbs:
