Tire date codes

Are there any tire suppliers that will give you the date code before they ship ??? I refuse to put a 3-4 year old new tire on my bike

i was able to get the born on dates of mine from J&P Cycle in Daytona. was told they weren't supposed to do it but i wouldn't shut up. they actually sent the same tires they quoted me. had bought tires from another company right before i got these, and they sent me older tires than quoted so i didn't even accept them from UPS, just turned them around. if you accept them you have to get return authorization and then the chance of a restock fee.

Iv tried J&P but they have been no help , I get the same story , we'll sell so many tires that blah blah

The other story is "We ship from so many locations it's impossible to get that info" I say Bull $hit
