Tire balancing beads

A shop that I'm considering to mount my new rear tire on my K-9, wants to put ceramic beads inside of it instead of using normal balance weights on the rim outside. Do these work? Has anyone had any direct experience with them one way or the other? He swears by them. It would be kind of nice to be able to eliminate the rather unsightly stick on weights currently on there with the old tire.

We have a member here who sells them...bdmridgeback. His company is called Low Down Chop Shop, and they are a sponsor of the forum. I am sure he, as well as many members here who use them, can answer any questions you might have.

use 'em on two bikes. Work great. So easy that the local shop has become a dealer.

This is the best thing since sliced bread. I have used them for about a year now. Smooth as silk. Got'em from Low Down Chop Shop here.
