Tire Balance Beads

I received a phone call yesterday from my Authorized BigDog repair shop. They told me they were at a seminar held by Pirelli and they (Pirelli) had stated that they will not honor any Manufacturers defect if Tire Beads were used instead of wheel weights. They said even if all beads are removed they can still tell if they have been used due to a residue left behind. I use the beads and will continue to use them until proven a problem. Just a heads up.

Thats easy, don't buy Pirelli tires.

Considering that it seems to be that Avons are the best choice for our Dogs I'm staying with the beads until Avon makes that statement.

Wouldnt buy Pirelli in the first place. Tell me has anyone found any cons to the beads? Had them in my pit and have them in my chopper no problems here.

They probably don't even stand behind any warranty claims without the beads!!!
