Tips For Cleaning Factory Foot Pegs?

I wear construction steel toed boots to ride with and mine are wearing ok so far. I have 8000 miles on mine at this point.

Barhopper, how many miles were on your stock pegs when they wore out?

I got the stockers and love them on the long distance rides. I also wear boots with the vibram soles.

They haven't wore out. The polish looked like shit, very quickly. I would say maybe 1000 miles and they were off. Rubber still is good.

I havent spent a lot of time polishing mine except in the past 2 weeks I have about 6 hours in polishing but thats trying to take of 20,000 miles of grime

On long trips i go to the neighbors house cut his garden hose then slid them over my chrome pegs.:roll: :roll:

Ive had my Dog for about a week now. have put a couple hundred miles on her. And have not wiped her off once.... Scraped pipes up a few times...
I'm kinda glad Im not going crazy as usual keeping my bike clean....
I'm gonna ride this bike till it falls apart or I sell it and buy another BIG DOG.
I fall more in love with it with every mile i put on her.. What a bike...:2thumbs:

I think my neighbors HATE ME!!!!

I look at all these guys riding by on Harleys, I'm soooooooo glad i did not buy another one.... Maybe another Ultra for my touring bike.... Next year
But never can i see myself owning anything but another BIG DOG!!!!
