Man, bet that's quite a site from a bike at night! How was the traffic? Could you keep moving?

I was there once. On foot and subway mostly. To a great strip club though! We stayed too late, one subway route shut down for the night and we damn near never got back to our car!

Cool place but like LA, too damn many people!

Thanks, Shovelcowboy

Was there a few weeks ago with Deb. Spent a couple days walkin and taking in the sights. Really transforms as it becomes dusk/night and the lights come on. Nice place but 2 days was enough.
Thanks for the pics.:2thumbs:

I love night riding in the city... too many critters getting all excited at night on rural roads that I have to take home at night.

FREEDOM!!!
I have never been in NYC at night on a bike. We took the Lincoln Tunnel in. I almost died of carbon monoxide poisoning. We took the upper level of the George Washington Bridge out. Much better choice! A lot of traffic in Times Square. Engines were hot. I had a group of 9 bikes. It was a nice rumbling sound. Times Square was packed. Traffic was slow. I have a short video clip I took from my cell phone I will try to add here.
I know what you mean by the tunnel. Came in 6:00am from the Jersey side one time on my shovel. ALL tractor trailers belching out the diesel, got instant black lung! Nice pics, great time, should ban all cars then NYC driving would be a BLAST!!!

Couldn't figure out how to post the video. Does anyone know how?
I have a Youtube acct. You can upload a video to Youtube (usually from your computer but maybe you can do it directly from your phone). They will then provide a link to that video (your video). Then you just paste that link to the post you make here.

An example is this short vid I did of a recent ride in our mountains here. It was taken with my camera (could have been a phone) then off loaded to my computer, then uploaded to Youtube and then linked to this site:

Hope this helps, Shovelcowboy

Gets me a little home sick. Grew up in North jersey and lived on the west side for 2 years when I was in my 20's. Still never get bored looking at pics of the city!!!
