maybe the Hotrod flames as these?I am with Erldawg on this one, Bikerdad had the perfect old school flames on his scoot and they would look awesome on Rays bike with the pin up art on top of the tank

Last summer I saw a black vintage BD with subtle gold flames that looked pretty hot as well. Pun intended

Update on paint
Went to check out the paint this morning and boy was it cold here. Got down to 21 this morning. I know that ain't shit compared to what you guys are going through up north but its cold for down here.
Anyway, the paint is done just curing now waiting to be buffed out. They don't have an oven or heating lights here so they just let them sit while they cure. But it will be tomorrow or the next day before I can pick them up then I can get them back on the bike. Not a problem as I won't need them till the weekend anyway but they came out pretty good. I was happy that the top of the tank came out straight and true which is what I wanted most since my pin up girl will go on there sometime in the future.
Now to see if I can find some J-B Weld down here so I can get the paint saver ring in and sealed up real good so I have no leaks.
