Update on paint

Went to check out the paint this morning and boy was it cold here. Got down to 21 this morning. I know that ain't shit compared to what you guys are going through up north but its cold for down here.
Anyway, the paint is done just curing now waiting to be buffed out. They don't have an oven or heating lights here so they just let them sit while they cure. But it will be tomorrow or the next day before I can pick them up then I can get them back on the bike. Not a problem as I won't need them till the weekend anyway but they came out pretty good. I was happy that the top of the tank came out straight and true which is what I wanted most since my pin up girl will go on there sometime in the future.
Now to see if I can find some J-B Weld down here so I can get the paint saver ring in and sealed up real good so I have no leaks. :D
Here are a couple of pics of the tins:

I really like your rear fender modification too! I might have to look into something like that to keep the water from fishtailing up on my back when the road is wet. That dog is grinning now!!!!!!!!
