I run a Thundermax with auto tune in my 2007 Bulldog. Have pointed a couple of people on converting there bikes over. Night and day difference.
Depends on what kind of room you have to mount the system on your model. I can only speak for the Bulldog model but I am sure we can answer any questions you have. I started with a 2 piece unit, ECM with a separate auto tune module under the EHC but have eliminated the EHC and I run a Thunderheart micro-processor but you can run t with the EHC as well. I had to drill a couple new mounting holes for the Thundermax to lower it so the Battery hold down strap could be used in its original configuration and installed the one piece Thundermax with auto tune. The one piece style just has the auto tune module mounted to the face on the ECM instead of being somewhere else. My bike is modified so the map is for it but I am sure making a base map for it is not an issue.....
Drop me a email with your questions and I will help you with what you need to know. Would not have it any other way. The Thunderheart factory is about a hour from me and I know everyone there anyway...
Simple to work with and it really is a plug and play as far as the wiring goes. I have the speedo settings and such already....
It is the shit.....

I have one on my S&S 124 street glide.

Unless they have a map for your setup, be prepared to spend a little time tuning the timing.

The rest is fairly easy.

In fact I am about to go out and read and save my offsets. :hi:
