I'm running 32 degrees I think that is 4 have been for 25,000 miles, no engine damage, runs great, and gets 50 mpg on the Hwy!

Ok I have mine on 3 which is 30 degrees.
It does not seem to be running as well as I expected,
throttle response is not crisp and just does not feel or sound
quite right...almost feels sluggish.
Also I have a decel pop and blue flame out the exhaust I did
not have before. Carb was not touched as far as I know.
Am I missing something or any thoughts?

Mine is set on 3 as well, no problems with this setting.

Do you have any other mods?

Mine has a bit of decel pop but that happened when I put in a mild cam.

Others that certainly know better than I do but you since you put in the igntion you may want to look at retuning?

Yes I have the G carb and 600 cam and pipes.

V, are you running pump gas?

My gas may have been pretty old while it was down for the recalled
wheel and powder coating.

Guess I will pull the plugs!

I have a Woods .590 cam with XXX G carb and maen moms with thunder monster baffle. Opened up the mixture screw a bit to help with decel popping. But just for short runs decel popping is greater than if running a distance. So if I fire up run a mile it pops, if iI go a distance it doesen't pop. To tune properly bike needs to be a full warm up which depening on temp can take a few miles. Im Running Exxon Hi Test only unless I'm in a pinch and also try to feul up at stations that have a deadicated Hi Test hose only. No one hose mix all fuels. I can definetly feel a difference in fuel

Thanks V, my plugs are a little on the white side.
Changed TH over too 2 and she is running much better!

Guess I'm going to need to rejet and go back to 3.
