throttle rattle

I have a pair of roulette grips from dlxproducts. The left one came with an insert to keep from rattling but the throttle grip didn't. I want to install my cruise control, but the rattling drives me nuts when I let go. Anyone has ideas of what to put in there go reduce the rattle?

Mine are XOPRODOX the predecessor to yours and same thing rattle rattle rattle, when you take your hand off the throttle. I figured the looseness was neccessary to have the response of return. I broke my cruisemate so I don't have the need to let go any more. I figured any any tightening would just cause drag and return problems. :loony:

I had to put tape on both sides of the bars with my dlxproducts grips. Bunch-a shit IMO
at that price point. I wont make that mistake again. I put less wraps on the throttle side to keep some freedom there like Brooks was concerned with, then some grease.

That's a good idea. Maybe wrap it with electrical tape to keep the metal on metal rattle down. Thanks boys.

I have the same problem with my throttle. Not that it rattles but it moves around. What kind of insert did you get for the grip that prevents this? My left grip is nice and tight. I would like to stabilize the throttle grip better. I tried the electrical tape but it didn't work right.
