I was out riding and I noticed that the throttle cable slips out when I open up the throttle. I can get it to reseat when I close the throttle but it comes back out every time I open it up. Any idea how I would fix that? Pics attached.

OK check your linkage. How long have you had the bike
Check to make sure the cable is routed correctly
You can pull the two set screws in front and make sure the grommet is seated correctly in your throttle.
Need more info

After the into, go to you local HD shop and tell them you need the compression clip for a throttle cable. That's what holds it in and yours is missing from the picture. A HD service manual will show you a drawing.

Yep what chacha said. Its a very small. Becareful when putting on and not to strech it. Spray alot of WD40 when its on the throttle housing and use a circular motion to push back in the housing hole. We also like for everyone to do an intro for the first post. Go to main page and you will see where to do one.
