Thread Chasers kits...

Can any of you recommend a good thread chaser set? When taking my belt guard off I noticed the threads in the frame look and little ruff and the bolts don't want to go in very easy so I need to clean them up. The bolts are 5/16 and don't look bad its just wear they screw into the frame. Also are these fine threads?

Any good tap set go slow and use oil.

and go in a little aways and take the tap out and clean the flutes and go further each time., is always good practice to be safe.

They do make cleaning dies that are a few thousands smaller For cleaning threads. Used them in all the race motors I used to build. Prob got them from summit or jegs

Use a 5/16 Thread former tool would be the best choice if u can lean one.

This is the kit that i recently picked up. Used them a couple times so far. Seems like decent quality for the price.
