Thinking about selling my Baker open primary

Gottaflirt

Leaving it all behind
Well you can see the difference between old school bikers who want to help a brother out and people who have come across a hard to find vintage part and think they will get rich off it.
A couple of facts about the Baker open drive for Big Dog Motorcycles: 1. They haven't made or stocked any replacement drives or parts for the drives what so ever for many years. Call them I did and they didn't laugh when I asked but I knew they had been asked that question many times. 2. They don't have parts for them and don't know any place to get them. And if you want another disappointment call around and try to find someone who makes the belts (you can I found a company) you will be blown away at the price. It's hard to have a sense of humor with some people but that o.k. because people like that let their greed teach them lessons.

Well, I’m not trying to get rich off of anyone. All I’m doing is asking for what I’ve got into it. Nothing more and actually less than I do have into it. And I’m certainly not judging someone that I don’t know. I’m 67 years old I’ve been riding since I was 10 and 45 years of that it’s been nothing but hard tales. I live to ride I I did not care what the weather I’ve ridden in the snow in the rain on days it was so hot you couldn’t breathe. I road a old pan head on a jammer hard tail frame with a 12” over springer front end with a four speed kickstart and suicide shifter that I built myself. From North Idaho to New York back across to San Diego and back to Idaho in 2 1/2 weeks sleeping in a military pup tent as I went. it rained almost the whole time I was in California. It snowed as I went across the mountain, in Idaho in Montana, and it sleeted across Iowa and Illinois. If that’s not old school I don’t know what is. If you look around at my post on here you will find I try to help everyone out that I can. if you’re not interested in it why even comment on someone you don’t know. I know there’s a lot of people out there that want one. If no one on here is willing to give me what I gave for it that’s OK too. Just thought I’d give someone on here the first chance to get it. It looks damn good sitting on my shell in the shop anyway with all the rest of the vintage and antique motorcycle parts that are in there. So with that being said if anyone is interested in it for $4650 plus shipping I can be reached on here just PM me .

The end of that was supposed to be so with that being said if anyone is interested in it for $4650 plus shipping PM me and we can work something out. I’m at work so someone was talking next to me whenl I had the microphone on (big hands, tiny keyboard on my phone, so I dictate what I wanna say instead of trying to type it ) and it must’ve copied what they were saying . like I said, it doesn’t matter either way. It looks way good sitting on my shelf in the shop.

Yes! You never know… some day you might change your mind… now that you are a professional installer! You can do it at your leisure. I have a complete open primary sitting in my garage to. Someday I might get a wild hair and put it on something. For now it’s just there to look at.
:chopper:
