was down at the key west poker run and I saw a few sprotors on bikes. They caught my eye. What do you guys think about getting one of those? It seems like it would clean up the rear tire a bit by having the brake and chain all in one on the right side.

it doesn't seem that bad. it looks like kits sell for about 500- 1000. Then theres labor for install. I'm getting prices now.

Sproket and brake rotor combined in one. The drive sproket is part of the rear brake rotor thus allowing for a cleaning look.

Our much missed Sul had one on his ride and I know it look very clean. If I recalled right he did seem to enjoy it and thought it was good.

Damn I miss his input and seeing what new inovation and goodies he was trying on the BD.

other than mounting tab for caliper and powdercoating swing arm , the install was pretty straightforward.

I like it - didn't sul have to grind some material off his pulley cover for clearance for the chain? could be wrong

There is a company that makes a belt drive one also. Will try to find it and post here.
